MLB Babble has now moved to the Most Valuable Network. The URL is still the same—http://mlbbabble.com—but I will no longer be posting on this WordPress blog. I have placed this update on all pages in an attempt to redirect visitors to the updated blog. Again, the URL is the same—http://mlbbabble.com. Thanks for reading!
A day after hitting a home run against the San Diego Padres, Manny Ramirez sat out of today’s game. Why? His legs are sore.
Are you kidding me? Your legs are sore!? You had 50 games off and you could not keep yourself in shape. It’s your third day back and you already need days off!?
This is ridiculous. This takes ‘Manny being Manny’ to a new level. Moreover, manager Joe Torre will ration Manny’s playing time. This is sickening. I wrote yesterday about how Manny is a cancer, a scum, a horrible teammate, etc. etc.
This takes it to a new level. This specimen could not stay in shape while suspended. He figured, ‘Well, I’m not gonna make my $8 million, so I might as well not keep my body healthy.’
Again, let me reiterate: Manny, you are a clown. You are the quintessential one-man player. You play for the money. You play for the recognition. You have no respect for the game.
I cannot wait till you retire.
